Learning Begins with Connection

Wondergarden Creative Learning Center is built around the way children naturally learn: through connection, story, play, and an invitation to wonder, with social-emotional learning woven throughout every experience.

Children grow with thoughtful support.

They learn through conversations and stories. Through creating and pretending. Through connecting with others, working through challenges, and trying again when something feels hard.

At Wondergarden, experiences are planned with purpose, but flexible enough to follow children’s interests. Gentle guidance is there when needed, while children have room to explore, try, and learn through experience.

Hi. I'm Patti.

I’ve spent years working with children and families in libraries, public schools, Head Start, and out-of-school time programs. What has stayed with me most is how much children can grow when they feel known, encouraged, and supported by adults who are willing to meet them where they are.

I created Wondergarden to offer more of that: a small, welcoming place where children can build confidence, connect with others, and explore books, ideas, creativity, and play while having room to be themselves.

My work is grounded in both hands-on experience and lifelong learning. I hold a bachelor’s degree with minors in Educational Psychology and History and I’m currently completing an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Development. I also have a Certificate of Mastery in Child Development, with additional training in early literacy, social-emotional learning, child guidance, and developmentally appropriate practice.
